when it rains it pours
Funny how sometimes everything happens at once.
I hadn’t played since July at the Twilight Galaxy show, and then we got really busy to get the album ready on time for September.
The album has been out for almost 2 months. There haven’t been that many reviews so far, but reviews have been good. So what we need now is a tour…
well, a mini tour.
I played a gig at the polytechnic where I teach last Monday, and although the sound setup was not ideal , it was fun and the turnout was very decent for a lunchtime crowd. New arrangements in the live versions are sounding much better too.
Now, for the rest of November, this is what is in the cards:
a slot for the JUICE magazine anniversary party on the 20th. Never played at Zouk, so i’m quite excited about that one. We still have to finalise some details but there may be some live visuals to my set…
a slot at an event happening during the Singapore Design Festival on the 21st, thanks to Mister Nick MUON, . MUON will be playing as well, hopefully we won’t both play that aphex twin song…
and last but not least, an album launch. Belated, but yes, an album launch. We want to make that one special, so there will be songs you’ve never heard, songs you haven’t heard for a while (or never, if you didn’t come to the EP launch 2 years ago…) and songs you may want to hear again.
But that’s all I can say for now. Expect more, very soon.
