Hibernation – over?
THE CANADIAN MUSIC WEEK IS AROUND THE CORNER!
TIME TO GET OUT OF HIBERNATION MODE!
Time and venue still TBA, but it’s happening.
The gigging bug has finally found me here. I haven’t played in a while, and since I took some time off starting over and recording the Raleigh record, the time feels right now for some shows. I still have to find my bearings in Toronto, because it all seems so huge sometimes, especially if you compare it with the gig circuit in Singapore, where you really have to get out to Malaysia, Indonesia or the Philippines to get more dates. I was reading some stats yesterday about an average week of gigs in Toronto, and it’s something like over 300 bands around 40 venues. any.given.week. Now I know why I still feel a little overwhelmed…
