Equal parts shoegaze, post-rock and electronica, amberhaze blends warm textured layers with essential melodies.
But enough with the third person…don’t you think? So here are a few things you won’t read in other ‘official’ bios:
I’ve been living in Singapore since 2003. There are things that I love, like the food, the trees and the quieter areas, and things I don’t, like the absence of seasons, bad traffic, and too many shopping malls.
I have two beautiful sons and one beautiful wife. And I’m happy it will stay this way for a long, long time.
I could not live without music. When I was a kid I think i wanted to become an orchestra conductor. As I grew up, i sort of revised my ambitions and taught myself chord structures on my first Roland synth…now I’m really happy when I get some time to record a song at night, until I realise I have enough songs to make an album. Doesn’t happen often though…
I’ve been playing music for a long time, but all things considered, amberhaze is quite recent for some reason.
Like any Italian, you don’t want to talk to me before I’ve had coffee in the morning. But I’m a generally friendly person right after that…
